Do you have experience in the role of Signals Protection Chief in a larger organization and are used to working at both strategic and operational levels? As Signals Protection Chief, you have a central role in leading and coordinating the signals protection service at the Government Offices. In your role, you will lead, collaborate, and support deputy signals protection chiefs at the operational level. You will also independently plan and operate at a strategic level. In this role, you will follow up and control the signals protection activities and prepare and present signals protection matters. You are also a representative for the signals protection service within the agency and towards other authorities and organizations. Together with your colleagues, you are an important part of the security work within the Government Offices.
Your Background
You have completed training as a Signals Protection Chief and have several years of relevant work experience in signals protection and signals protection systems, both at strategic and operational levels. You also have current knowledge of applicable regulations for the signals protection service as well as knowledge of the role of the signals protection service within total defense.
It is advantageous to have current knowledge of the laws and regulations governing security protection and the preparedness of government agencies. Excellent knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

As a person, you have a good ability to work independently and you have a good ability to prioritize and structure your work. You can keep many balls in the air at the same time and drive your work forward. You also have the ability to adapt to situations and circumstances. Good judgment is a central quality, as we see that you can manage a larger amount of sensitive information in a reassuring manner. The ability to create and maintain good relationships and good collaboration skills are prerequisites for the position. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. The position is classified in a security class and a security review with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but you may have a foreign background.
